A Bit Of DeVORE Fidelity Fun – O/Bronze Vs O/Reference!

Hi All,

This really is a bit of fun as we had basically 2 systems setup in 2 very similar rooms of the same brands but at very different price points, so thought it would be fun to walk between the rooms with my phone to one show the different systems and to see if the differences can be heard on a phone but the main reason for doing it was to show that we have these setups available for demo so if you would like to come in to compare yourself please feel free.

System 1 (around £70k)

So this system comprises of the new DeVORE Fidelity O/Bronze speakers, dCS Lina DAC X and Trafomatic Rhapsody Integrated which we have tube rolled and put in the Western Electric 300B valves which made a significant difference, we also added a REL S/510 subwoofer to make it a fairer comparison as the subs in the Reference system are amazing, finally all cabled up with Atlas Arran cables.

The idea with this system was to create a smaller version, and considerably cheaper version, of our Statement DeVORE Reference system, which I’d say we have done pretty well as this system really does give a taste of what the big system can do.

Bearing in mind this comes in at around £70k against the Reference systems £700k+ I’d say that is a demo worth trying to see what the extra does in fact get you.

System 2 (around £700k+)

So I put this system together a few months ago to create what is for me is one of the best, if not the best, system money can buy, needless to say you can spend a lot more on HiFi and it is a very personal thing obviously but the response we have had to people that have taken up my invitation to come in and spend a few hours enjoying it has been amazing with a lot of people saying it is the best they have ever heard so you can’t really ask for more than that.

So what do we have here, so to start with we have the amazing DeVORE Fidelity 4 box O/Reference speakers, driven by the equally stunning Trafomatic ElySium Mono Power Amps and Tara Preamp all being fed by the best digital source in the world, the dCS Audio Varese and all hooked up with Transparent Audio cables, so not too shabby a system if I do say myself.

Anyway, please feel free to watch the video below but if you would like to do this demo yourself please feel free to get in touch to arrange a time to come in.

Many thanks,

Paul.
