I must admit we have had these in the shop for a while now but been so busy that I’ve not had a chance to let everyone know but I am delighted to say that we have the new Michell Revolv and Gyro turntables now on permanent demo.
I have always been a big fan of Michell decks, owning an Orbe long before HFL was a glint in my eye so to have the new Gyro, which as been totally redesigned whilst retaining that classic look, is really exciting and what I can say about the new Revolv, I really love this turntable, has a lot of what the Gyro has to offer but in a simpler design, I can see one of these finding their way home.
We have partnered the Gyro with the Michell TecnoArm 2 tonearm and the Cusis M MC Cartridge and the Revolv with the T8 tonearm and Cusis S MC making 2 really well balanced and great sounding vinyl solutions, obviously we used the Michell Apollo Phono Stage with both being that it is the natural partner, needless to say both setups sound great.
