Design

The KALA 41 is the Server-Only version of the K50, that will add layers of musical insight when playing to a KALA 22, KALA 21 or the network input of your DAC.
Every panel in the KALA 41 is precision machined from a thick solid plate of premium alloy for a perfect fit and finish, and outstanding vibration control.

Technology

The KALA 41 is built around just the Server computing stage of the KALA 50, with its exceptional Direct Stream Ethernet output.

Server

The custom Server computer employs high processing power for snappy response and to extract an outstanding level of musical detail to stream to a Player/Streamer.
The KALA 41 includes Direct Stream for optimum performance. Use the Network port to connect to your local network, and use the Direct Stream port to connect to your DAC. This provides a network connection for your DAC but, crucially, provides a pure signal path between your KALA 41 and your DAC.

Upgrade Path

Adding a KALA 22 to a KALA 41 matches the functionality and performance of the KALA 50, making it a simple upgrade option, outperforming playing the KALA 41 direct into any DAC. Or add a KALA 21 to match the USB output performance of the KALA 50.
