IsoLink Vertex and Vector Power Cables
The all new IsoLink VERTEX and IsoLink VECTOR power cables are the perfect solution to connecting your system to its vital power source. They are the perfect complement to our power conditioners and class leading performers for any audio application in their own right.
IsoLink Vertex – High Performance Power Cable
The IsoLink Vertex is suitable for use in any high performance Hi-Fi or AV application. This new upgraded cable features solid machined copper terminals. Each aspect of its design and construction has been carefully considered to keep sound quality high whilst keeping the price competitive. At the heart of the cable are high purity copper, silver plated live and neutral conductors which are insulated with PFA polymer. PFA has a very low dielectric absorption similar to PTFE and has excellent long term stability. The jacket is a high quality synthetic rubber elastomer providing excellent mechanical damping and vastly superior electrical characteristics to PVC, commonly used at this price point. Quality branded rewirable connectors are specified for excellent electrical performance and reliable termination.
Isolink VECTOR – Statement Power Cable
The IsoLink Vector in its new form is a further testament to an exceptional reputation in audiophile territory. This cable design is upgraded with solid metal bodies and pure copper machined, rhodium plated terminals. These have been chosen by blind audition. The strand diameter and quantity chosen to be the optimum configuration for sound quality. Great care has been taken with the physical construction to preserve power transmission integrity. Cables are made by a process of laying up the individual mechanical and electrical components with the outer jacket. The forms of these components are each circular in cross section and leave small voids between the components in the finished cable. The high peak current pulses the cable has to deliver under typical operating conditions causes the conductors to move relative to one another under magnetostriction.
This small dynamic instability in conductor geometry raises the cable noise floor, modulated by the current waveform and degrades performance. The IsoLink Vector undergoes a special process during manufacture to fill these small voids with an elastomer to maximise mechanical integrity and minimise this effect. A carbon loaded polymer screen provides 100% cross sectional coverage to shield the conductions against electromagnetic interference. A flexible synthetic rubber jacket provides the final layer ensuring total mechanical stability with very low loss electrical characteristics.
