It’s exciting to start the New Year by announcing that AVID HiFi has now joined our Portfolio of brands, launched in 1995 they have just celebrated their 30th Anniversary which is no small feat, they offer a full range of products but for now we are concentrating on their stunning turntables, Tonearms and amplifiers.
On permanent demo we now have the superb entry Level INGENIUM Turntable which I have to say really does sound incredible for it’s £1500 asking price, then we have their beautiful mid level RELVEO turntable that is priced at £6,900 including the AVID ALTUS Tonearm, we have fitted our demo model with the Dynavector XX2 MC cartridge, one of my favourites, then to finish of our demo range we have AVID’s flagship ACTUS Turntable as part of our Reference room which comes in at £17,500 and not only looks stunning but it really does sound as good as it looks, we have the Analog Relax £4,998 EX500 MC Cartridge fitted to that, overall that package really sings with our Trafomatic Tara / Elysium / DeVore O/Reference system, if you’d like to come in for a listen please feel free to bring some vinyl in and indulge.
Regarding amplifiers we have AVID’s £4,500 ACCENT Integrated amplifier and their £9,300 INTEGRA Integrated amp, both include excellent phono stages that cover all types of MM/MC cartridges and really do perform brilliantly with all types of speakers from DeVore to PMC and everything in-between.
