Just a quick blog to announce that we now have the superb Yamaha R-N2000A Streaming / DAC Integrated amplifier and the all Analogue A-S2200 Integrated now on permanent demo.
I’ve always been a fan of Yamaha as in HiFi terms they always offer superbly built kit that looks stunning at sensible prices, when you lift both these amp it amazing how they do it for the money in all honesty, they really do feel like a premium product from the VU meters to the tactile feel of the switches and dials, all built using top notch components.
As for sound quality, everything is there but if anything it is voiced slightly towards the warmer and more organic side which is no bad thing with speaker designs getting more and more detailed nowadays, as with all Yamaha products you get a 5 year warranty also once registered.
We do really well with Accuphase and these amps from Yamaha really do offer something similar but at a different price point so it is really exciting to be able to offer both these amps now to our customers, can’t wait to start demoing them.
Personally I just love the styling, especially the silver and back trim of the N2000A, just gorgeous.

Yamaha R-N2000A Streaming / Network Amplifier –
Just add speakers to this stunning looking amp, put it on the network and you are good to go with the streaming service of your choice, it also has digital inputs as well as an HDMI input so you can add your TV to it – RRP – £2,995.
Yamaha A-S2200 Analogue Amplifier
This is a purely analogue design offering both RCA and Balanced inputs, huge Toroidal Power Supply and Phono Stage and those VU meters, I mean who doesn’t love a VU Meter – RRP – £3,620.
