The KALA 50 is the flagship of the KALA range, with an electronic design that is derived from the OLADRA, delivering compelling musical performance at a more affordable level. Every panel in the KALA 50 is precision machined from a thick solid plate of premium alloy for a perfect fit and finish, and outstanding vibration control.

Technology
The KALA 50 employs two separate computing stages with isolated signal processing stages. Processing by two custom computers is followed by an isolated regeneration and clocking stage.
Dual Computers
The powerful custom KALA Server computer ensures snappy response to your commands, and extracts an outstanding level of musical detail to stream to the Player. The custom KALA Player computer presents a signal with natural timbre, saturated tonal density, wide dynamics and immersive musical expression.
Signal Processing
The digital signal received from the Player computer is isolated and regenerated using ultra-stable, and oven-controlled femto-second clocks. The USB output is reclocked separately from the synchronous outputs (S/PDIF, AES3 and I2S), employing different clock circuits based on the needs of each output type.
