Rocket 22 Full-Range – Speaker Cable w/ SureGrip 300 Connectors

The carefully finessed blend of Perfect-Surface Copper (PSC) and Long-Grain Copper (LGC) is packed in a semi-solid concentric pattern with reversing spiral forms to keep wire position and contact optimal for minimum signal distortion.

Description – Semi-Solid Concentric Perfect-Surface Copper (PSC) and Long-Grain Copper (LGC) Conductors. In a conventional multi-strand cable, distortion caused by electrical and magnetic strand interaction is compounded as each strand changes position within the bundle. In an AQ Semi-Solid Concentric cable, strands within the bundle maintain their fixed relationships, significantly reducing distortion. A carefully finessed blend of Perfect-Surface Copper (PSC) and Long-Grain Copper (LGC) allows a smoother and clearer sound than cables using regular OFHC (Oxygen-Free High-Conductivity) copper.

 

Double Spiral-Pair Geometry – A typical speaker cable with parallel conductors has fairly high inductance, smearing energy across time, which results in sound that is dull and unfocused. In Rocket 11/22, the two conductors in each half of the cable are twisted around one another, providing lower inductance, greater clarity, and superior bass-to-treble frequency extension.

  • Semi-Solid Concentric Conductors: Semi-Solid Concentric conductors significantly reduce strand-interaction, a major source of dynamic distortion in cables.
  • Long-Grain Copper and Perfect-Surface Copper: A carefully finessed combination of our high-purity Long-Grain Copper and higher-purity Perfect-Surface Copper conductors minimize distortion caused by grain boundaries.
  • Double Spiral-Pair Geometry: Two conductors spiraled around one another provide lower inductance, greater clarity, and superior bass-to-treble frequency extension.
  • PVC Insulation: PVC minimizes energy absorption for clearer sound.
