Hi Everyone,
So we’ve been a little quiet on the cinema side lately but as Arcam have now released their new Radia range of AV products including 3 AVA all in one units and 1 AVP Processor we’ve decided it’s time to get the pop corn out and get our cinema room up and running again.
Personally I have been using Arcam at home for cinema duties for over 20 years now, I still really believe that they are unbeatable at their price points so when we get a new range it is something for me to be excited about, I’ve already bagged the new Processor for home use.
So what do we have? basically there are 3 new AVR’s (or AVA’s now due to there being no tuner in so not technically a receiver) and 1 processor that follow the previous lineup pretty closely, the entry level AVA15 is a Class D amp, the AVA25 is Class A/B and the flagship all in one uses Arcam’s excellent Class G amplification, the main upgrade now is the inclusion of Dirac’s new Active Room Treatment, known as Dirac ART, this is said to be a big step up from the previous version of Dirac Live, which to be fair was very impressive so keen to try ART myself.
Needless to say they feature the latest HDMI spec + audio codecs as well as streaming all the latest music platforms and as you can see the styling has taken a huge leap forward, please see the specification comparison sheet below for all the models –
Open Day
We will be having a Cinema open day asap so showcase these new home cinema amplifiers + some other bits we have coming to for the cinema side so please watch this space for more info.

If you are running one of Arcam’s older Receivers or Processors, or another brands cinema offering, please feel free to get in touch to discuss part exchange options, always happy to look at P/X.

Arcam Radia Speakers
I just wanted to add that we also have the Arcam Radia R15 and R35 speakers on demo, I used the R35’s to test the AVA35 and I have to say it was a pretty sweet combo as you would expect with both coming from Arcam, they do a full range of speakers, including a Centre and Subwoofer so running a full Arcam Home Cinema system has never been easier.
Finally Arcam will be releasing 2 Radia power amps shortly to finish off the range which we will add to demo as soon as available, one will be a 4 channel Class D offering and the other 9 channels of Glass G.
If you would like to demo any of these options please get in touch to make an appointment.
Many thanks,
Regards,
Paul.
